About the person

Vyacheslav is employed as a PhD student at the DSM. He researches the shipping industry through the lens of the world-system analysis. In particular, he studies the role of the container shipping industry in uneven development and how it contributes to unbalanced globalisation. Vyacheslav is also an associated researcher at the Collaborative Research Centre TRR 294 "Structural Change of Property and PhD Student at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. He has work experience as an analyst at several companies in the maritime sector in London, as well as BSC in Economics from University of Surrey, UK, and MA in Sociology from Free University of Berlin.
