Jana Schäfer
“In my work in the LIFTProv project at the DSM, I have the opportunity to deal intensively with individual cases of auctioned removal goods in Hamburg, to research in archives and to make previously hidden stories visible. In this way, I can be part of a research project that addresses significant gaps in the historical reckoning with the Nazi looting of those persecuted as Jews – a chapter of history that continues to resonate to this day.”
