Hygiene and visiting rules

For the safety of museum guests and employees, DSM offers numerous hygienic services and safety precautions during Corona times. These include hand disinfection dispensers, protective glass and cashless payment at the cash desks, shorter cleaning intervals, as well as distance markings and marked paths through the exhibition. Both guests and employees are required to wear mouth and nose protection in the exhibition rooms.

To be able to trace chains of infection in acute cases, we ask all visitors* to leave their address details at the ticket office. Of course, the data will be destroyed completely and in accordance with data protection regulations after 3 weeks. If you have booked a guided tour or registered for an event, you can submit the relevant personal data in advance via the visitor service.

For the following public events, we kindly ask you to register or make reservations in advance via our visitor service:

    Family event (max. 10 persons)
    Holiday special (max. 8 children)

Please note the respective registration deadlines.

For bookable group events, we ask you to register as usual up to 14 days before the event via our visitor service:

    Guided tours
    School tours
    Family cruise

These can be booked as usual, but the group size is currently limited to 10 people.

Of course we will dynamically adapt our restrictions to current developments.
