Steam Hammer

This medium-sized steam hammer comes from the former Bremer Vulkan shipyard in Vegesack. From 1905 to 1987 it was used there for forging ship crankshafts and cylinder head nuts.

Thanks to the support of the Bremer Vulkan AG, the steam hammer could be set up here in the open air in 1992.
